Satsang in South Florida was established in 1988 with the efforts of a handful of devotees and the blessing of His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj. In 2001, a Mandir was inaugurated in Boynton Beach, and since then, Satsang has continued to grow.

On Saturday, December 29, 2012, Sadguru Pujya Kothari Swami (Pujya Bhaktipriya Swami) performed the inauguration ceremony of the new assembly hall. The celebration began with a mahapuja joined by over 400 participants, followed by the inaugural assembly. In his blessings, Pujya Kothari Swami announced that the new hall would be named “Narayan SabhaGruh” in honor of Pramukh Swami Maharaj. Children and youth led the inauguration assembly, explaining the community effort behind the construction. They also spoke about the role the Mandir played in their lives and the impact the Narayan SabhaGruh would have on future generations of Hindus in South Florida. The joyous occasion was punctuated by an energizing dance by children between the ages of four and six.

The new assembly hall will provide a location for many spiritual, cultural, educational and recreational activities for children, families and community members.

Later that evening, the celebrations continued with a kirtan aradhana. In his blessings, Pujya Kothari Swami spoke about the significance of Mandirs in our communities and our lives. He ended the evening on a note of encouragement – that through unity, Satsang will continue to progress.
