The balaks of BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha in Melbourne presented a Bal Parayan cultural programme on Sunday, 17 October 2010. The theme of the two hour - long programme was 'Nilkanth Varni’s Kalyan Yatra'.
20 youngsters aged between 5 and 14 years enacted skits depicting Nilkath Varni’s travels in the dangerous jungles and an encounter with the demonic Pibek. The children also performed a traditional folk dance and the Shishu Mandal presented a short quiz on the life of Nilkanth Varni.
The Bal Parayan was an inspiring event for all that outlined Nilkanth Varni’s unique qualities of fearlessness, faith and friendship.
