On Sunday 9 April 2006, 675 devotees attended the 225th birthday celebration of Bhagwan Swaminarayan. The celebration assembly featured bhajans and speeches by youths and BAPS sadhus and video presentation of Delhi Akshardham.
The Yuvak Mandal presented a Hindi drama entitled “Bhakti Ki Shakti,” based on an incident from Ramayan.
Also present on this auspicious occasion was Dr. Richard Worth, MP. Dr. Worth addressed the assembly complimenting the BAPS for its efficient and caring social, spiritual and cultural activities.
In conclusion the birthday arti was performed with much joy and fanfare.
