Rath Yatra Celebration

Over 450 devotees participated in the Rath Yatra festival celebrated at the BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir in Nairobi.
A beautifully decorated chariot bearing the murtis of Thakorji was pulled and circumambulated around the mandir for 90 minutes. This was followed by an assembly in which the history and significance of the Rath Yatra festival was described through speeches by the resident BAPS sadhus and senior devotees.
