South London Kishore Mandal claimed the National 8-a-side indoor Pramukh Cup Cricket title this year edging Leicester A with the winning run scored from the final delivery of the match. In a competitive tournament with 18 teams, an improvement on the previous year’s competition, the event was played with admirable spirit. Two teams from Leicester clinched places in the semi-finals alongside Brent who won the 3rd place playoff. Mirag Taylor of Leicester and Alok Patel of Brent claimed individual honours for batting and bowling respectively.
