The BAPS Mandir in San Francisco celebrated the auspicious event of Shri Krishna Bhagwan's birthday on Saturday, September 12th. The festivities included, among numerous things, kirtans, video darshan and speeches. The attendees were graced with the presence of Pujya Santos. Pujya Harinivas Swami enlightened the audience by relaying events from the divine life of Lord Krishna. Pujya Vivekyogi Swami went further and spoke on what a true, practical celebration of Janmashtami entails. After an enjoyable program delivered by yuvaks, the audience was lucky to have darshan of the Krishna birth-swing.
