BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha

Committed to providing health care to those who lack access, BAPS has initiated a program that utilizes a fleet of Mobile Medical Clinics (MMC) to knock down the transportation barriers preventing low-income and tribal populations from receiving such care. There are currently 14 MMC traveling throughout Gujarat and Rajasthan, and each MMC is staffed with a doctor, a medical assistant/compounder and a driver. All treatment provided is free-of-cost to the patients. Moreover, information to help prevent and treat common medical conditions is provided through educational brochures, publications and awareness lectures.
