Bhagwan Swaminarayan & Divine Successors

Bhagwan Swaminarayan (1781 - 1830): Established the Swaminarayan Sampradaya, introducing religious and humanitarian reforms in 18th century India. 

Aksharbrahman Gunatitanand Swami (1785 - 1867): Eternal abode of Bhagwan Swaminarayan and His first spiritual successor.  

Brahmaswarup Bhagatji Maharaj (1829 - 1897): Tolerated great hardships and conquered the three states of waking, dream and deep sleep.

Brahmaswarup Shastriji Maharaj (1865 - 1951): Uncompromising in his faith and for the truth, he formally established BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha in 1905.

Brahmaswarup Yogiji Maharaj (1892 - 1971): An embodiment of devotion, bliss and humility, Yogiji Maharaj's all-encompassing love touched everyone.    

Pragat Brahmaswarup Pramukh Swami Maharaj (b. 1921): The fifth spiritual successor, His Holiness Pramukh Swami Maharaj is the living inspiration for devotees and has inspired many religious and humanitarian activities.
