BAPS Children’s Forum, UK organised a Satsang-themed weekend of educational and spiritual activities for over 170 children at Condover Hall, Shropshire during the Easter Bank Holiday weekend. The recreational activities were given spiritual themes, helping the children relate to and enhance their Satsang values and principles.

Around 60 children aged between 13 and 15 from the BAPS Children’s Forum in London participated in a road safety initiative called ‘RoadSense’.

More than a hundred girls and their mothers attended a special event at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London on Sunday 10 March 2013 to celebrate the bond between a mother and a daughter.

Lead volunteers and coordinators of the BAPS Children’s Forum, UK gathered at Swansea in Wales for a leadership retreat. The group engaged in a number of team-building and recreational activities, while daily spiritual practices were also strengthened.

BAPS Bal and Yuvak mandals, Kuwait, organized a Sports Day and Dabra Utsav on 1st Feb, 2013.

A family Sports Day was organized on 19th Jan, 2013 by BAPS Swaminarayan Mandir Sydney. The event took place at Fagan Park, Hornsby in Sydney.

Hundreds of children from across the UK came together at two awards ceremonies to present their talents. These grand finales were hosted at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Leicester, on Sunday 13 January 2013 and at BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, London, on Saturday 26 January 2013.

To promote unity in families, a family sports festival was organized by BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir Nairobi.

More than 800 children aged 3 to 14, divided into four age groups, participated in a variety of competitions over the weekend. This was the culmination of the Kidz Ultimate Challenge (KUC), with the final Memory Challenge (purna mukhpath) and Skills Challenge (talent contest).

The event was designed to help participants reach their potential and excel in their various competitions through guidance provided by volunteers and sadhus.

On 4th August, 2012, a two hour cultural programme was presented by Balikas and Kishoris in Adelaide, Australia.

As part of the Bal-Balika Mandal’s multi-event Kidz Ultimate Challenge, children from BAPS Swaminarayan Satsang Mandal, Paris participated in a sports challenge on Sunday 28 July 2012.

Sporting spirit came alive for hundreds of bal-balikas from around the UK as the country gets ready for one of the greatest sporting events it has seen – the 2012 Olympic Games.

BAPS Children’s Forum has received the Gold Award from the National Resource Centre (NRC) for its “high standards of service in providing supplementary education to the community”.

BAPS volunteers visited a children's safety home in Cape Town, South Africa. They distributed blankets and groceries and provided a hot meal for the children in the home.

With 2012 being the year of the Kidz Ultimate Challenge (KUC) for the UK & Europe Bal-Balika Mandal, a special day of training for young children aged between 3 and 8 years was held.

On Friday, 25th May 2012 in the morning hours, a ground breaking ceremony took place to pave the construction of a classroom block at Nakivubo primary school, kampala. This new classroom block is being donated by BAPS Swaminarayan Sanstha, Uganda, as a charity in support to the education sector.

1031 examinees appeared in Bal 1 and 2 exams held on March, 2012, out of which 88% passed the exams.
