The shibir, entitled ‘Become Adarsh – Satsang Principles’, marked the beginning of a year-long spiritual development programme for youths in the UK. It was attended by almost 700 participants.

With the blessings and instructions of Pramukh Swami Maharaj, Sadguru Bhaktipriya Swami (Kothari Swami) and accompanying sadhus visited the UK and parts of Europe en route to India from the USA during February and March 2013.

The festivities and devotional celebration to mark the first anniversary of BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir, Leicester was held on Sunday 7 October 2012. Beginning with Vedic rituals in the morning, the celebrations concluded with the evening assembly during which all were encouraged to utilise the Mandir to progress spiritually and for peace to prevail in one’s life.
