Not A Student But A Divine Scholar
|
Rangacharya had scriptural knowledge. However he did not have the ability to identify the verses from the scriptures that explained the form of God. Shastriji Maharaj possessed this ability. Rangacharya was also a well-versed scholar in the Advaita philosophy. However, when Swamishri demonstrated verse after verse that their meanings proved that Brahman and Parabrahman have form and are not formless, Rangacharya was simply amazed. He felt that this Shastri Yagnapurushdasji was not merely a sadhu, but some great divinity in the garb of a student who, by studying under him, was accepting his services.
