Summer vacation is the time all students look to enjoy at home, with friends and relatives. This time, the students of Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan came to school during the Summer vacation. So, various activities were introduced in their daily schedule to fill up a gap of vacation and let them enjoy while they continued to improve their English. Special mentors from Surat stayed on campus for 8 days, followed by and Ahmedabad came specially and stayed with girls on campus for 8 days and 10 days respectively. This gave students the feeling of staying with their elder sisters while they enjoyed their daily activities. They learnt participated in different activities like – Mehndi art, rhymes singing, art & craft, better living, character building, first aid, role play, recycling, spiritual values, etc.
A day prior to their 1-week break after the completion of bridge course, a function, "Brahmanandam" was held for the girls. Performers and spectators, both friends of each other, were happy to be part of the event. The evening ended with girls performing Garba together and ice cream party. It was a memorable evening that marked first step to their life-long friendship.
