Republic day is one of the most remarkable days in our Indian history which marks the day when people of India received their right to run the country. With an air of excitement, BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir Randesan celebrated the 69th Republic day on 26th Jan’18 with great joy and pleasure.
The glorious event was commenced by the flag hoisting when the students echoed "Zhanda uncha rahe humara, vijayi vishwa tiranga pyara..." followed by National Anthem. Flag hoisting was done by our respected director Neeta mam and dignitaries. This was followed by a beautiful Patriotic song which filled the atmosphere with the feeling of patriotism. Student of std 8 then made a speech on the importance of ‘Republic day’.
The Sports day began with great zeal and enthusiasm after the Flag hoisting. The participants wholeheartedly and did their best for themselves as well as for their houses. The field was filled with house colors as it was amazing to see students playing with spirit and winning different games. Though Republic day came to an end but our hearts will always be filled with respect towards our great nation.
