Akshardham is spiritual and cultural campus dedicated to devotion, education and unification. Timeless devotional messages and vibrant Hindu traditions are echoed in its art and architecture.
This year, Swaminarayan Akshardham, Gandhinagar celebrated its silver jubilee and the students of SVM Randesan were exited to visit this place with their friends. All the students of BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan visited Akshardham, Gandhinagar on 3rd December, 2017.
Intermixing their trip with devotion, the students started a pad-yatra of 9 kms early in morning to reach Swaminarayan Akshardham. Post-breakfast, they also had heard spiritual discourse in morning sabha at BAPS Temple situated right behind Akshardham.
They then took labh of morning aarti in Main mandir, and observed exhibitions situated inside Akshardham Mandir. Then they also went to observe Pradarshans. After watching all the pradarshans they performed Abhishek of Nilkanth Varni at Abhishek Mandapam.
They also got an opportunity to take a group photograph with majestic Akshardham as backdrop. The trip concluded with sumptuous meal-prasadam at Akshardham.
