Teachers Day is an occasion which makes the students feel closer to a teacher. Traditionally the students dressed up as teachers and took up teaching in each classes. Thus, the students get a feeling of life of a teacher.
Teachers Day was celebrated at BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan on 5th September with enthusiasm. The day was filled with fun for all. Students dressed up as teachers in assembly. Each and every teacher was presented with a memorable group photograph, which was presented to them by students who became teachers. It was a loving and thoughtful gesture from students.
Dr. Urmilaben Asher, a principal from Amreli, who is also winner of “Best Teacher” award from Government of Gujarat was present on that day. She blessed the students and addressed the teachers to be the best in their profession and be proud of their job and the institute they serve.
Later, students went to classes as per time table and taught the lectures as assigned with sense of duty and responsibility.
