BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir Randesan celebrated The National Science Day on 28th Feb 2017 to commemorate the day on which Sir C.V Raman discovered the Raman Effect.Students enthusiastically participated to make this one hour programme knowledgeable for all.
After morning assembly ,at 8:15 Am the programme got started. Pal Kapadiya (8A) initiated the programme with an introductory speech on Importance of celebrating National Science Day. Showing the urge of protecting our environment, Khushi Vekariya (5B) gave a short speech. Followed by speech Sakshee Ramani(7B) made everyone aware about the major advancements in the field of Science & Technology by Indians along with explaining the theme of National Science Day celebration 2017 which is “Science & Technology for specially abled persons”.
Students carried out few informatory events which includes Narrating poem on Water , Dictating names of Popular scientists along with their inventions and narrating slogans to motivate the students for giving their valuable contribution in the field of science in future like:

This was followed by a general Science Quiz where every student was allowed to participate.
The students involved in science day celebration were appreciated by school authority which motivated all the other students to come forward and showcase their talents.
