Birthday of Adi-Guri Shri Ved Vyasji is being celebrated throughout the India on Asadh Sud Punam. BAPS Swaminarayan Vidyamandir, Randesan celebrated its maiden Guru Purnima with enthusiasm. The students were excited and started preparing for the same a week in advance.
Various programs were carried out in the campus right from the morning to mark this auspicious day. At school, a special Guru Purnima morning assembly was held. Prayer and special song were dedicated to Swamishri. The Speeches from a teacher – Kinjal Bhatia, I/C principal Ragini Pandey and Director Dr. Neeta Shah inspired the students. The importance of Guru, Life and work of Guru Pramukh Swami Maharaj and how we should earn Rajipo were explained in those speeches. Towards the end of the assembly, Guru pujan was performed by all the students. Teachers-Mentors were also wished and thanked by students. The teachers felt the deep love in the gratitude shown by the students to them.
In the evening, a special program was held at Hostel. Dance and Drama were followed by Speech of Sh. Neetaben Ranpurwala (Gruh Mata) on the divine qualities of Swamishri. After reading time, the girls once again gathered in the assembly hall and enjoyed the video. The day ended with girls doing garba to the tunes of various kirtans.
