Over 500 kishores and kishoris (aged 14–22) participated in the special youth seminars, themed ‘Your Circle, Your Choice’, held at 11 BAPS centers throughout Australia and New Zealand (Auckland, Brisbane, Sydney, Melbourne, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra, Wellington, Darwin, Christchurch and Hamilton).
The seminars emphasized to youths the profound effect the people they associate with and the media they interact with can have on them. In each seminar, the resident swamis guided attendees on how they can craft a circle of positivity around themselves to grow personally, reach their goals, and achieve their true potential.
The youths also participated in interactive sessions via video conference with Dr Chirag Patel, Chief Medical Officer of Central Jersey Urgent Care, and Shri Mayur Patel, Equity Portfolio Manager at JP Morgan. Both guests, who are dedicated BAPS devotees living in the USA, shared insights from their inspiring career paths – particularly elaborating on how carefully choosing the influences in their lives has played a crucial role in their achievements. Youths asked questions to learn from the guests’ inspiring career journeys, and understand how they themselves could take steps to achieve success.
